Kaiser Phlebotomy Cart

Kaiser Permanente had a specific request to design a new phlebotomy cart that health care workers could use to draw blood from patients. The goal was to create a high-quality cart that could be built for a reasonable price. The design solution has good manufacturability, aesthetics and durability, but more importantly, it is cost effective and includes easily sourced hardware. What makes this product far superior to its predecessor is that casters lock and unlock with a single foot action, it moves in all directions, and has the right surface area for optimal use. A flexible mounting area allows for additional future products.
